Our
Company

Peter Pendleton Associates was formed in 1990, becoming a limited
company in 1998.
The consultancy has a diverse client base and has been involved
in major development projects including the relocation of Arsenal
Football Club and associated developments and a 3,500 homes new
neighbourhood for Corby with Science Park and further education
campus. We have worked on projects in the Green Belt and other sensitive
locations, including advising on establishing and extending a Thameside
Terminal and have a continuing involvement with Football clubs,
currently Tooting & Mitcham United F.C.
The practice provides planning advice and guidance to a number of
private development and investment companies in the UK. Current
projects include housing, business, and retail, hotel, A3 and leisure
projects in London, the south-east and the Midlands. Our team has
extensive experience in regeneration policy, programmes and projects.
We have extensive experience in London’s town centres, working
on public sector strategy and programmes in Wandsworth, Southwark
and Islington and private sector investment. This included SRB board
membership and Town Centre Management in Peckham.
We have a growing involvement in e-planning, offering business process
re-engineering advice to Planning departments and progressively
reviewing planning websites. The PPA National Planning Survey was
published in 2003 and the 21 ‘Pendleton
Criteria’ have since been adopted by the ODPM as one of
the measure of e-planning progress. We are currently working on
projects with the Ordnance Survey, The Planning Portal and the 2004
National Planning Survey for the ODPM.
We have established a team available to advise local planning authorities
on improving process and performance led by Jayesh Patel.
The team can offer clients planning experience gained from responding
to challenges acting for public, private and community interests.
