Peter Pendleton& Associates Ltd (PPA) is a private planning and regeneration consultancy formed in 1990. The company employs 10 professional staff, the majority of which are Chartered Town Planners and/or Chartered Surveyors who have backgrounds in both the public and private sector. We also have an increasing network of planning-related specialists. The company is based in London but have clients and projects across the UK. We provide planning services and advice to a diverse range of clients, working on both large and small-scale projects, and are also retained as chief planning consultants to a number of individuals and businesses. The company is also involved in the preparation of Development Control Procedure Manuals for local authorities and have carried out survey work into the development of e-government for PARSOL. Web site survey information PPA undertook and published surveys of planning web sites of the London Borough in 2002 and 2003 and authorities in the South West in 2003. We conducted a full national planning web site survey for England and Wales in 2004 (based on our Pendleton Criteria), which was published by PARSOL in September 2003. PARSOL also commissioned PPA to undertake a survey of online regulatory services - Environmental Health, Licensing, Building Control and Trading Standards – for England.The survey report was published in May 2004. We are currently working with the ODPM and the Planning Portal on further planning surveys and projects including the December 2005 survey.
